Carpigiani North America announces the next dates for the new in-person classes

In April we celebrate a new start for the sweetest school in the world. Carpigiani North America announces the next dates for the new in-person training session for Frozen Dessert University and Carpigiani Gelato University in two locations: Vernon Hills, (Chicago), Illinois, and High Point, North Carolina. The courses are designed for those who want to enter a new sweet business or further their knowledge.

The first one, scheduled from April 12th to 14th, will take place in High Point, North Carolina, and is entitled “Beginner Frozen Dessert Business Course”. The training program is focused on artisan ice cream and other frozen desserts made for the most demanding palates and is specifically designed to provide the students with all the tools necessary to be successful in the frozen dessert business

The second one will be held at the Chicago campus from April 19th to 22nd and is entitled “Basic Gelato Course” with a special focus on traditional Italian artisan gelato as taught in the Gelato University’s main campus in Italy. On April 23rd students with a previous background in gelato or the one who attended the Basic course can attend the “Advanced Gelato Course” for a 1-day training session. 

The educational program for the three courses is based on theory as well as hands-on learning to allow each student to be as creative as he or she wants to be. Students will leave the class with a wide-range of knowledge, confidence and continued hands-on support from the instructors.
All three courses will be conducted with social distancing and will be following the CDC’s recommended guidelines to keep students & instructors safe. For example:
•    Students are required to have a facemask on when inside the facility.
•    Students and instructors will sanitize & disinfect shared services frequently.
•    Wash and sanitize your hands often. Sanitizing gels are available.
•    Wear gloves & sanitize workstation before starting hands-on practice
•    Students must Keep social distance (at least 6ft ) and avoid assembly during breaks. 
In addition, students whom cannot travel or whom would like to join classes from the convenience of their home can still access the interactive online courses. Gelato University Headquarters in Bologna Italy will continue to offer Online courses in English, Spanish, French & Italian on www.gelatouniversity.com
